The Silver Moon Saga is back!

I’ve been hinting that I have some Silver Moon Saga related news, and I can FINALLY share it today!

The Silver Moon Saga has gotten a makeover, with brand new covers that I am absolutely in love with. Not only that, but the insides have been reformatted and they look amazing. Also, for the first time ever, two short stories that I wrote for the YA Scavenger Hunt will now be available to buy. “Roast Chicken,” a story told from Rafe’s POV, is included with THE SIGHT SEER, and “Our Moment,” a story told from Kain’s POV, is included with THE SOUL HEALER. Exciting, right?

So, are you ready to see the fabulous covers, designed by MakeReady Designs?

As you can see, it’s completely different from the original cover (which I’ll always love) and features a scene from the book. Isn’t it super creepy and awesome? I especially love Gabi’s glowing hands! Also, check out that demon behind her!

The ebook is available on Amazon! Free if you have Kindle Unlimited!

Next up is THE SOUL HEALER! Here we have another scene in the book, featuring Gabi in Manhattan. And that creepy demon is back, lurking behind her.

The ebook is available on Amazon! Free if you have Kindle Unlimited!

And the final book in the series, THE SHADOW STEALER. It’s Gabi in Bryant Park, aka my favorite place in NYC. The details are great in this one, and yes, there’s that pesky demon again. If you’ve read this book, then you know exactly which demon that is.

The ebook is available on Amazon! Free if you have Kindle Unlimited!

And of course we can’t forget the novellas!

They’re a little different, but it makes sense since the novellas are different from the novels. The flowers are such a nice touch, especially since Gabi loves gardening. I love how dark these covers are.

An Autumn Dream is available on Amazon!

A Promise of Magic is available on Amazon!

But wait, that’s not all! In addition to these new covers, I’m happy to announce that I will be publishing a BRAND NEW Silver Moon Saga short story. YES, you read that right. A new adventure for Gabi, set four months after the epilogue of THE SHADOW STEALER.

Here’s the cover:

Cats_Rats_and_Cowboy_Hats (3).jpg

And the blurb:

Gabi’s demon hunting days may be over, but that doesn’t mean her life has calmed down. When her sister, Chloe, walks in on Gabi and Rafe doing some hardcore making out in the pantry, Gabi must submit to her darling little sister’s demands or risk Chloe tattling and Gabi being grounded until she’s sixty.

Gabi spends a week in agony waiting for her sister to cash in on her favor. But what Chloe wants is even worse than Gabi imagined:

She has to cover one of Chloe’s shifts at the Convenience Corral.

Set four months after The Shadow Stealer’s epilogue, Cats, Rats, and Cowboy Hats is a hilarious new story that reunites readers with their beloved Silver Moon Saga characters.

Inspired by my trip to Texas, I had such a blast writing this one. It doesn’t have an official release date, but it’ll be out as an ebook soon, I promise! In the meantime, add it to your to-read list on Goodreads! In the meantime, add it to your to-read list on Goodreads!

Phew, there’s a lot going on, right? New covers, a new story… I hope you’re as excited about this as I am!

Cover Reveal: The Sleeping Ancient

All good things must come to an end, and today I’m sharing the cover of the final Smoke and Mirrors book, THE SLEEPING ANCIENT. When I first started writing THE FADING DUSK, I never imagined I would end up with a six book series. I figured it would be another trilogy, with maybe a novella containing some short stories. But after I started writing book two, things began shifting drastically from my intended outline, and I knew I was going to need another full length novel in order to tell Irina’s story properly.

And what a story it’s been.

THE SLEEPING ANCIENT releases May 22nd. It’s the longest book in the series, and I found it hard to say goodbye to these characters. But I’m satisfied with their ending, and I hope you will be, too!

And now, because I’ve had you wait long enough, here’s the cover!

The Sleeping Acient_Final-ebooksm

Once again, Regina Wamba of Mae I Design has blown me away with this gorgeous, stunning cover! All the little details are perfect, and I love that Irina is looking straight at you this time. Irina’s growth throughout this series is so important, and I wanted a cover that symbolizes how strong she’s become. She looks absolutely badass and I love it.

Let’s take a look at the full wrap!

Yeah, I’m in love.

Cover Reveal: The Burning Chaos

I’m so, so excited to share the cover of The Burning Chaos! In fact, I was supposed to do the reveal in May, but once I saw it I knew I couldn’t wait any longer!

And I’m not going to be mean and tease you and make you scroll down and down and down…

The Burning Chaos_Final-high

Isn’t it BEAUTIFUL?!?! When I first saw it, I screamed. How could I not?! I asked Regina Wamba of Mae I Designs for fire AND snow and to give it a darker feel since this IS a dark book, and she totally nailed it. Why the fire? Why the snow? Why am I calling this a dark book? Well, you’re just going to have to read it, aren’t you?

I have another treat for you; the full wrap. Let me warn you, though, that the blurb contains spoilers for The Fading Dusk, so if you haven’t read the first book yet, don’t read the blurb! But you can still look at and admire the gorgeous wrap!

The Burning Chaos_Final

Two months after Bantheir’s betrayal, Irina is learning how to live in a world where magic is not only real, but a part of her everyday life. As a spy for Parnaby, the shadowy president of the city of Dusk, Irina has to pretend Parnaby’s manipulation magic worked on her and she doesn’t remember his horrifying proclamation about Vernen. If her friend, brought back from the dead by an ancient source of magic, begins to show even a hint of magic, Parnaby will kill him without hesitation.

When a mysterious woman named Aeonia confronts Irina, she threatens to tell Parnaby everything Irina is hiding from him if Irina doesn’t steal a magical artifact from the president’s mansion. Knowing she’s the only one who can protect Vernen, Irina agrees to Aeonia’s demands, but she wonders if this ultimate betrayal will destroy her newfound happiness with Leonid—and get her killed in the process.

With elements of magic, mystery, and murder, The Burning Chaos takes readers on a dangerous journey through Dusk, introducing them to new characters and reuniting them with old favorites. Can Irina stay one step ahead of everyone and save Vernen? Or is she doomed to succumb to the magic she once loved but now despises?

*flails* I love everything about it. The deteriorating frame, the birds, Dusk in the background. It captures the essence of this book perfectly!

The Burning Chaos is out July 12th!

What’s that? You want to see all three books in the Smoke and Mirrors series together? I can do that!

Which one is your favorite? I don’t think I can choose; I love them all!

Cover Reveal: By the Morning Light

It’s time to share the cover for the Smoke and Mirrors novella, BY THE MORNING LIGHT! Drum roll, please…

By the Morning Light - Melissa Giorgio - eBook - S.jpg

What do you think? I’m pretty much in love with this cover. It’s got a brightness to it that contrasts the gritty, darker feel of THE FADING DUSK’s cover. And see that crown of flowers? That’s important to the story. Huge thank you to Berto Designs for the cover!

So what’s BY THE MORNING LIGHT about? Lucky for you I have a blurb:

For Claudette and Emile Borde, living in the city of Ayres and working on their parents’ farm has never been enough. Influenced by stories of the past, in which magic was real and the dragons still lived, the siblings have always dreamed of leaving their city behind and embarking on their own adventures. But as squires training to become full-fledged knights, they must renounce magic, for it was magic that nearly tore the world apart during the old wars.

When the carnival comes to the city, Claudette meets Aeonia, and the two become fast friends. But Aeonia is no simple girl playing at fortune telling—she can wield magic, and it’s both breathtaking and volatile. Torn between upholding her duty as a squire and keeping a secret for her friend, Claudette must decide where her loyalties lie. Is this the adventure she’s always craved, or is she dooming her city and her loved ones by remaining silent?

Set in the same world as The Fading Dusk, By the Morning Light is a brand new adventure by author Melissa Giorgio that sets up the third book in the Smoke and Mirrors series.

Can I just say how much I enjoyed working on this story? First of all, I never planned on writing it, but my trip to Texas last September inspired it (and no, it has nothing to do with Texas itself, just some conversations I had with friends.). I spent a month wondering if I should write it, and, if I did, how could I incorporate it into this world I’ve already established? Would Irina ever meet Claudette? How? Would they get along? The more I thought about these questions, the more I realize I HAD to write this story. Of course that meant pretty much throwing out my outline for book three, but, having just finished the first draft of that book, I can safely say that I’m happy I did chuck that outline. I love Claudette. I love Emile. I love that this book can be read before or after THE FADING DUSK, and also before or after book two, THE BURNING CHAOS. I love that it helped me get a better feel for certain characters and the reasoning behind their actions. Have I used the word “love” enough yet?

BY THE MORNING LIGHT will be out in September. For now you can add it to your Goodreads shelves and visit the Pinterest board! And don’t forget to tell me what you think of the cover!

Cover Reveal: Nobody’s Lady

I’m so excited to share the cover for the next book in Amy McNulty’s Never Veil series, Nobody’s Lady! I think I love this one ever more than the first one. Take a look and tell me what you think!

Nobody's Lady Smaller

Gorgeous, right? I love Noll’s expression!

For the first time in a thousand years, the men in Noll’s village possess the freedom to love whom they will. In order to give each man the chance to fully explore his feelings, the lord of the village decrees all marriages null and void until both spouses declare their love for one another and their desire to wed again. What many women think will be a simple matter becomes a source of village-wide tension as most men decide to leave their families and responsibilities behind.

Rejected by the lord and ashamed of her part in the village’s history, Noll withdraws from her family and lives life as an independent woodcarver. This changes when her sister accuses her of hiding her former husband Jurij from her—and when Jurij eventually does ask to move in. Determined not to make the same mistakes, Noll decides to support her male friends through their new emotional experiences, but she’s soon caught up in a darker plot than she ever dared imagine possible from the men she thought she knew so well. And the lord for whom she still has feelings may be hiding the most frightening truth of them all.

I’ve read this one and it’s fantastic, folks. Mark your calendars; it’s out April 12th. That’s not too far away!!

Cover Reveal: The Fading Dusk

Today is the day. The cover of THE FADING DUSK is here, and I’m so excited to share it with you!

The idea for THE FADING DUSK came from a conversation I was having with my dad. I don’t, unfortunately, remember what we were talking about, but the term “smoke and mirrors” came up. For some reason that made me picture a girl wandering the streets of a city (not a present day city, but like something from the Victorian era). Who was she? What was she doing there? That image of the girl in the city stayed with me through the entire first draft and beyond, and I’m absolutely thrilled that Regina Wamba of Mae I Designs captured it perfectly with this stunning cover!

Okay, enough talking. You’re probably not even reading this! Without further ado, I present to you the gorgeous cover of THE FADING DUSK!

The Fading Dusk_Final_high

What do you think?! Do you love it as much as I do??? Like I said, Regina nailed it. The buildings and the foggy atmosphere and that awesome frame and the birds (so important) and IRINA’S HAIR. Her hair is so perfect! I am absolutely in love with this cover!

Here’s the full wrap (the back is gorgeous too!):

The Fading Dusk_Final

In the gritty city of Dusk, seventeen-year-old Irina makes her living as the street magician Bantheir’s assistant. The job isn’t glamorous, but she loves the crowds, the shows, and most of all, the illusion of magic. But Irina’s world is shattered the night she is arrested and charged as Bantheir’s accomplice to murder—murder by magic.

Real magic, the kind that’s been forbidden since the old wars.

Irina finds the idea of flashy showman Bantheir using actual magic to kill someone laughable, but she’s the only one who sees how ridiculous the claim is. But how can she convince everyone Bantheir is innocent when they’ve already made up their minds? Desperate, Irina must decide who she can trust to help her win her freedom. Is the surly, handsome Captain Leonid telling the truth when he says he believes Irina is innocent, or is he just using her to get to Bantheir? What about Aden, the sweet soldier and longtime fan of Irina’s who claims he’s on her side?

Irina said she wanted to know the truth, but when she stumbles across a dark secret that changes everything, will she be strong enough to survive?

THE FADING DUSK is coming July 21st, 2015. That’s just two months from today! You can add it to your Goodreads to-read list, and check back here (or on my Twitter or Facebook) for links to buy it as we get closer to its release date. And don’t forget to look at the Pinterest board!

Tell me what you think!
